About Our Nutrition Services

Better health begins with a strong nutritional foundation — and with the right support, that foundation can be truly transformative. Nutrition plays a powerful role in healing chronic disease, restoring metabolic balance, and supporting the body’s innate ability to thrive. Whether you are navigating a chronic condition, working to rebalance blood sugar and hormones, or simply seeking to optimize long-term wellness, our Registered Dietitian provides personalized, evidence-based nutrition care tailored to your unique needs.

Why Nutrition at Mend is Different

Most nutrition programs rely on generic protocols that don’t reflect your unique needs or support long‑term change. At Mend, we do things differently. Through a food‑as‑medicine approach, whole & nourishing foods become practical tools for healing, resilience, and longevity. Rather than quick fixes, we focus on sustainable strategies that support the body’s natural self‑regulating systems — empowering lasting, meaningful change. Our goal is to set you up for long term success! When the body receives the right nourishment, it can heal, strengthen, and truly flourish.

FAQs for Nutrition Services

Frequency depends on your goals and needs, but most patients benefit from regular follow‑ups to adjust their plan, track progress, and stay supported. Your initial package is 4 sessions. Most of the time, those will be used within the first 6-8 weeks of care.

Every body heals at its own pace, but most patients begin noticing shifts in energy, digestion, inflammation, or symptoms within the first few weeks as their system receives the nourishment it needs.

Absolutely. Our food‑as‑medicine approach works alongside your existing care to support healing, reduce symptom burden, and strengthen overall resilience. Our nutrition program is not a replacement for regular medical care or medication. Though, it is not uncommon for many medical concerns to disappear or medications to no longer be needed when nutrition is done properly.

Absolutely! If you have recent lab results that can help give us a starting point, please share those in your portal prior to your initial appointment.

Yes. Because we focus on root causes and personalized strategies, many patients finally see progress after feeling stuck with generic or restrictive plans.

Your plan is designed to be realistic and sustainable. We prioritize nourishment, flexibility, and gradual change — not deprivation or rigid rules. However, in order to achieve the changes you want to see, we may have to push you a little outside your comfort zone.
