About Neurofeedback

Microcurrent Neurofeedback (MCN) is a gentle, non‑invasive, drug‑free therapy designed to help the brain reset and regulate itself. MCN measures your brainwave activity and delivers tiny, imperceptible signals that encourage the brain to shift out of stuck or dysregulated patterns—without any effort on your part.

Many people experience meaningful, lasting improvements after a short series of sessions. MCN has been shown to support a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, traumatic brain injury, ADHD/ADD, substance use patterns, and more.

What to Expect With A Session

MCN sessions are gentle, comfortable, and surprisingly simple. Sensors are placed on the scalp to read brainwave activity, and the system delivers tiny, imperceptible signals that help the brain shift into healthier patterns. Most people feel relaxed during the session—some even describe it as calming or grounding. Sessions typically last about 15 minutes, and improvements often build over time as the brain learns to stabilize and self‑regulate. MCN is safe for all ages and can be used alongside counseling, medication, or other therapies as part of a comprehensive care plan.

Neurofeedback Pricing

We do not bill insurance. Payment is due at time of service. If you have an order for neurofeedback from a health care provider, we can provide an itemized bill if you would like to attempt reimbursement from your insurance. Please note that only select diagnoses usually qualify for insurance reimbursement. We cannot guarantee reimbursement.

Jumpstart (Month 1) *Required*

The Jumpstart includes your initial intake session, brain gauge testing, and 5-7 additional sessions. Ideally you will complete all sessions within the first month of treatment, usually two sessions weekly for 2 weeks, then 1-2 sessions per week for 2 weeks based on how you are progressing.

Payment Plan Available

Post-Jumpstart

After the Jumpstart package is completed, sessions are paid individually at $80 per session. At this point, most patients begin to drastically space out their sessions as the brain adapts.

FAQs for Neurofeedback

Microcurrent neurofeedback differs from traditional neurofeedback in that it’s completely passive and uses tiny, imperceptible electrical signals to help the brain reset itself. Traditional neurofeedback requires you to stay engaged with visual or auditory feedback, while MCN does the work automatically—no effort needed. Because it gently nudges the brain out of stuck patterns, many people notice improvements more quickly and with fewer sessions than traditional approaches.

Neurofeedback is safe for any age. A young child may have difficulty if unable to sit still or will pull at the leads, though this can often be overcome with distraction and parental help.

A neurofeedback session is pretty short and simple. First, the neurofeedback provider will clean the skin in the areas that will be treated. Then an a small amounts EEG paste will be applied to specific areas and the EEG leads will be applied. There are 5 leads and two of these will be moved around your head during the session. The entire treatment will last less than 10 minutes. Many will relax during the session or if needed, kids can read or watch a show during the treatment.

The main goal of treatment is sustained stability over time. The goal is to reach a point where treatment is no longer needed. Treatment plans vary from case to case. Typically, you should expect no less than 10 treatments to reach lasting sustainability, but some will require many more. In the beginning phases, there can be a need for multiple treatments in a week.

Your initial session is 1-hour, which includes the intake from provider, brain gauge, and first treatment. After this, sessions are scheduled for 20-30 minutes.

There are no known contraindications, though treatment protocols may be adjusted depending on your reactivity to sessions.
